The internet probably doesn't need to be reminded that Google Reader is heading out the door on July 1st. The good news is, Feedly has already stepped up with its own sync server that's coming online now.The migration process has begun for users on iOS, Android, and the desktop. You shouldn't have to do anything, but if you don't see it, you might need to update the app. The upgrade has been rolling out over the last few days, so it may take a while to get to you. When it happens you'll get a happy green notification like the one above. After that point, you won't be relying on Google servers at all. Feedly is going to allow other developers to plug in to this system, so apps like Press, Reeder, and gReader can continue to function exactly as they did before. The one downside is that unread counts and some Saved articles are getting lost in the transition. Once you've migrated, everything should work again, but the transition may be a little messy. Still, it's a lot better than everything shutting down in two weeks.Feedly’s Migration To Its New RSS Server Has Begun, Is Messy | Lifehacker AustraliaFriday, October 4, 2013
Feedly Gets Its Own Syncing Service, Detaches You From Google Reader

Android: Getting detailed information about your device isn't always easy. Apps like Speccy help on the desktop, and now CPU-Z can do the same for your phone or tablet. The app requires Android 3.0 and above (sorry Gingerbread users). Once installed it will give you extensive information about your device, including display resolution, SoC architecture, active RAM usage, battery health, temperature, and a ton more. In most cases, this app will probably be overkill, but if you've ever needed to know what kernel architecture your device uses, CPU-Z has your back.CPU-Z comes to Android | NirmalTVGluten Free Vanilla Berry Kale Smoothie
Ingredients:Kale, washed and torn into pieces, stems removed
1/2 large banana
Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc)
1 large scoop vanilla gelato (or ice cream)
Instructions:
Fill half of a large dinner plate with kale. Fill the remaining half of the plate with a large scoop of vanilla gelato and the fruit. Dump everything into a blender and puree until smooth. It makes one martini glass full (or one sippy cup....about 8 oz).
Notes:
I am trying to sneak kale into my son's diet. This is attempt #1, and honestly, I could just stop right here and make this forever. Don't be fooled by the blah color....it is amazing! The thing that surprised me most was how much food was on the plate to start with, vs. the small quantity of smoothie that we ended up with. I plan to make this over and over again, probably changing up the recipe a little each time. You can really use whatever you have on hand. Next time I am going to try chocolate....
