Read Your Exported Google Reader Items With This Webapp
With Google Reader closing in just a few days, it may be time to export your data. Services like Feedly are already building migration tools, but if you just want to look at the data, this tiny webapp has you covered.Githubu user BriceMcIver built a simple tool that allows you to view the contents of your Google Reader data. If you want to use this, first you'll have to download your data from Google here. Once you have the files, extract the zip and point the file chooser in this webapp to any of the files ending in .json. It's designed to work with your list of Starred items (which many of us use as a makeshift to-do list or read-it-later bucket), but I tried it on shared articles, and articles from followers and it worked there too. It didn't work 100% of the time, but it's worth a shot if you just want to see your data without going through a whole big import process.Google Reader Starred Items Import | GitHubSaturday, June 29, 2013
Keep Track of Delicate Laundry Items with a Dry Erase Marker
Not all laundry is created equal: some needs to get hung to dry, or go in a separate cycle. Keep track of which "special" items are in the wash with a dry erase marker.Just mark which items are in that load on top of the washer, and you'll never throw them in the dryer by accident with the rest of the load.Dry Erase Marker on the Washer | My Home Lookbook via BuzzFeed
