SkyMotion Provides Minute-By-Minute Precipitation Forecasts
iPhone/Android/Windows Phone 8/Web: A lot of weather forecasts will tell you whether it's going to rain in your city on any given day, but SkyMotion narrows the forecast down to the minute, and down to your block.If this sounds familiar, it's because it shares a few similarities to previously mentioned Dark Sky, but SkyMotion is cross-platform and free. The interface and feature set varies slightly on each platform, but no matter which app you're using, you'll be able to get current conditions and minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts targeted to a single square kilometer. On iOS, you can also report your current conditions to help improve SkyMotion's accuracy over time.For general weather information, I still prefer Check The Weather's easy-to-read interface and WeatherBug's exhaustive feature set, but when I want to know if it's going to rain during my lunch break, SkyMotion is a perfect companion app.SkyMotion (Free)
